Change: It Starts With Me

          I am capable, I don't have to be a certain way because of what happened in the past. Everyday is a new day. it's silly to think I can't help being the way I am.I don't need someone else to take care of my problems. I can't solve other people's problem for them. I don't have to take on other people's problem as if they were my own. They are capable and can take care of themselves. I can care and be of some help, and I can do everything for them.
There is more than one way to do something. More than one person has good ideas that will work. There is no one and any best way. Everybody has ideas that are worthwhile. Some may make more sense to me than others, but everyone's ideas are worthwhile, and everyone has something to contribute.

Kannawidan

    The province of.. Ilocus Sur is celebrating KANNAWIDAN FESTIVAL every year. The stretch of Bangui in Ilocos Norte down to Luna La Union is called Ylocos which is a term to refer to the coastal inhabitants.It literally meant "from the lawlands".
   Ilocos Sur especially Vigan is branded as the  Heart of Ilocandia from the Philippine Historical Committee. It's a province very rich in culture and heritage. Kannawidan means traditions and this province go to showcase  all that she has. 
  Many contest were executed dring this event. many artists also came here to visit the Ilocano. Each of the respective Town has their product displayed at Kannawidan Product Section located at the west side of Provincial Capitol..

New Year, New Me!

          Resolutions are not important if you do not do it! Yes it's t rue, it s very easy to say but it's difficult to do. For the past 2011, I have done so many things that are good and there were also things. For the past 12 months there were so many problems that i have faced. It's not easy for me because of my young age. It's too difficult that's why I want to be stronger and be more careful in making my decisions. I just want to move on from all the bad memories of the past. I want a new life this year 2012, a new me!!! A new me who will make use of my time for happiness with my family, my friends and with God. To be always nice with them. A new year, a new life!!! I want change!!!

"Keeping in Mind our Mother Tongue"

          Mother language has a very powerful impact in the formation of the individual. Our first language, the beautiful sounds of which one hears and gets familiar with before being born while in the womb, has such an important role in shaping our thoughts and emotions.
           A child connects to his parents, family, relatives, culture, history, identity and religion through his mother tongue. Native language links the child with the culture of the society the child comes from and shapes his identity. A lot of children from immigrant families, who don’t know their native language well, are at a crossroads of identity crisis. When a child doesn’t know his language well we cannot say that he will be nurtured with his culture properly for the fact that the relationship between language and culture is deeply rooted. Mother tongue is one of the most powerful tools used to preserve and convey culture and cultural ties.

Equal Rights and Opportunities to all

           Let us first understand what rights are and what opportunities are. Rights are the particular works and events that we are authorized to do or to perform. On the other side, opportunities are our favorable times and situations for doing something.
           We cannot deny that we are now living in equal right, full of arguments and discriminated planet, wealthy man control our planet with their influenced and money, they are rolling us with their powerful hands. In our society now, once a man is wealthy he or she was respected by rich or poor person who needs money. But the thing that really should respect is the dignity of a person. But these equal rights and equal opportunities deserves all of us rich man or poor man.

          We all know that we're now living in a new kind of generation.In fact,it helps our country to move and change the life we're living before.A life which exemplifies the very poor and un-upgraded country.But wait ... something is wrong,since these doings and technologies have improve our nation, a problem occured ...CLIMATE CHANGE ...
          We must start doing change right now!!!not tomorrow or next year!Suggestions and solutions are open but ACTIONS ARE MUCH NEEDED!!

"Promoting digital literacy through english proficiency"

          Digital literacy is using technology on literary works. We are now adjusting to the high-tech world. We had already reached the age of computers. Kids, teens, adults and even elders know what a computer is and how to use it.

           Now, writers are in danger of extinction. Computers willrule the world of writers if that will happen. But people are better than computers. There are things that computer doesn't know. Yes, people aren't perfect. But people can do better. They can practice on how to write and speak in English. First time is always a trial. And a trial can be improve. There is better and best.
       Write and speak fluently. Beware wordsmiths. Robots are coming.
