"Keeping in Mind our Mother Tongue"

Mother language has a very powerful impact in the formation of the individual. Our first language, the beautiful sounds of which one hears and gets familiar with before being born while in the womb, has such an important role in shaping our thoughts and emotions.
A child connects to his parents, family, relatives, culture, history, identity and religion through his mother tongue. Native language links the child with the culture of the society the child comes from and shapes his identity. A lot of children from immigrant families, who don’t know their native language well, are at a crossroads of identity crisis. When a child doesn’t know his language well we cannot say that he will be nurtured with his culture properly for the fact that the relationship between language and culture is deeply rooted. Mother tongue is one of the most powerful tools used to preserve and convey culture and cultural ties.

"Promoting digital literacy through english proficiency"

Digital literacy is using technology on literary works. We are now adjusting to the high-tech world. We had already reached the age of computers. Kids, teens, adults and even elders know what a computer is and how to use it.
Now, writers are in danger of extinction. Computers willrule the world of writers if that will happen. But people are better than computers. There are things that computer doesn't know. Yes, people aren't perfect. But people can do better. They can practice on how to write and speak in English. First time is always a trial. And a trial can be improve. There is better and best.
Write and speak fluently. Beware wordsmiths. Robots are coming.

CHEMERGY: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy

Chemistry is one of the most important branches when it deals to our daily life. Here, many chemicals, elements that can produce a certain compound that leads to formation of new products. These products are extremely helpful for us. And as time goes by, experts again form products and try other experiments and methods making these.

One of the most hated subjects in both high school and college is Chemistry and it has proven itself to become more and more forgettable and hard to understand with each one’s advancement in the academic ladder. But why has Chemistry become such a feared and alienated field? And is this fear and alienation good for us in the end.
One possible reason why many people cannot grasp the basics of Chemistry is the fact that the field of knowledge uses an almost entirely different kind of language. Mathematics uses numbers, and all others use letters and words, but chemistry uses an incomprehensible mixture of these, woven into complex patterns almost to the point of irrationality. Well, that’s how I felt when Chemistry and I first met. But in reality, Chemistry is not something to be feared. It is one of the most enjoyable subjects.

MY ULTIMATE TEACHER

If there's no teacher, no professional.  That's the simplest way I can describe how the teacher is very important to all of us.  We need them to become someone in our life.

My teachers have their own vital role in school wherein they play in propagating positive values to us, students.  Values are caught not taught.  Hence, the importance of seeing these values lived by our teachers, their roles and their impact upon society and family, is in improving education will not be in vain.  They train and impart what they have learned to me.  In this way, I will become a shining light to other people.  My teachers desire me to be good and to do good, to see me performs my best in everything I do as competent and committed student. I consider my teachers as my heroes but sometimes I'm hesitant to share with them my problems because they can be strict which makes me nervous.  So if given the chance to talk with them, I'd tell them how thankful I am for having them as my teachers.  I'd tell them how thankful I am for their sacrifices just to share their knowledge to me. I'd tell them how sorry I am for the pains I may have caused them.  But above all, I'd tell them I really love and thank them.  I'd tell them these words and how grateful I am for having them my teachers and my heroes likewise.  It's only now that I realize how much good about having a teacher who knows when to offer advice and when to just listen.  They want me to be the best student and model to others.  Their strictness only shows they want to mold me into a good person.  I'd also tell them how thankful I am for all the things that they have done for me-for the guidance and inspiration, the love and care.  I'd thank them for being the best teachers and my heroes.  I'd tell them how much I love them, that without them my life would not be the same.

"My Modern Hero"

All of us have someone whom we consider as our hero in our life. The one who make you feel comfortable everytime. Whom you can share the happiness sadness and alsothe embarassing moments of your life. And as usual the one who will help you when you need help and companion.

For me I consider my mother as my hero because without she i can't see the beauty of the world. She is the one who accepts me who I am really. She is always there for me when I am alone and the time that I am sad. Even when I'm not asking anything they give it to me, Because she want me to be happy and have comfortable life. She do everything for me to be a good Carlo Jigg.

SONA of President Benigno Aquino III

SONA. It serves as the mirror of our country. It is done yearly, every last Monday of the month of July. It is addressed by the President of one country. The president states the country’s status, problems and also all the programs that he had done in a one year service.
President Benigno Simeon Cuanco Aquino III delivered his SONA last July 25, 2011 at Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City. His SONA is very remarkable. He delivered it using our National language. Unlike our previous President, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, she used a foreign language in delivering her SONA. And that should not be right, as a President she must use also our National language as a sign of respect to our country. P-noy stated our country’s status in his first year service. He also stated all the programs that he had done. In his first year of service he had done so many in improving our country’s status.
